Macintosh Postscript
1 installation.
PostScript fonts come in two parts: the bitmap (screen font for display
on screen), and a PostScript printer font (outline font for smooth printing).
For example for Bebedot Blonde, the screen font is called Bebedot Blonde.bmap,
and the Postscipt font BebedBlo.
System 9 or earlier.
1. Quit any application in which you wish to use your new Holland Fonts
font.
2. Drag the suitcase file of your new font onto the System folder. For
OS X: Drag the fonts onto the Fonts folder in the Library folder.
3. Click OK when the System asks if you want to store the font in the
Fonts folder. The System places the font in the Fonts folder and your
font is installed.
4. Open the application in which you wish to use your new font.
Macintosh
TrueType installation.
TrueType combines the bitmap for screen display and the printer outlines
in a single font file.
System 7.1 or later.
1. Quit any application in which you wish to use your new Holland Fonts
font.
2. Drag the suitcase file of your new font onto the System folder. For
OS X: Drag the fonts onto the Fonts folder in the Library folder.
3. Click OK when the System asks if you want to store the font in the
Fonts folder. The System places the font in the Fonts folder and your
font is installed.
4. Open the application in which you wish to use your new font.
Using a font managing utility.
1. Quit any application in which you wish to use your new Holland Fonts
font.
2. Place your new font in your preferred fonts folder.
3. Add the font to the font managing utility.
4. Open the application in which you wish to use your new font.
